St Clare’s College is a school in the Franciscan tradition, drawing inspiration from the life of St Clare of Assisi, and her guide, St Francis of Assisi. The College has adopted 7 Principles of Franciscan Education (Franciscan Schools Australia, 2020), and these principles form the basis of a cycle of liturgical themes to guide and enrich College life. The College Liturgical Theme provides the central focus for mission at St Clare’s College.

2025 is our St Clare’s Year of Transformation, inspired by the verse:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Our theme calls the St Clare’s community on a journey of reflection, growth, and transformation. As pilgrims of hope, we walk together, guided by faith and wisdom, toward a deeper understanding of truth and love. We are invited to:
- Seek Wisdom: Embrace a lifelong journey of learning, critical thinking, and openness to truth.
- Renew Minds: Engage in a reflective transformation that aligns with values of faith, leadership and service.
- Be Hopeful Pilgrims: Embody hope and resilience, lighting the way for others and fostering a world of care and connection.
Our theme aligns with our St Clare’s Mission: empowering young women to live with purpose, hope, and courage, making a transformative impact on the world.
