Junior Studies
Year 7 and 8
Year 7 and 8 students at St Clare’s College dedicate significant time to the seven core subjects; in addition to core subjects, they explore a diverse range of experiential subjects through a progressive cycle. This exposure allows them to discover new interests and develop foundational skills in areas they may not have encountered before.

Year 9 and 10
Students in Years 9 and 10 continue to develop skills in six core subjects. These subjects increasingly structured to cater to the widening range of students’ aspirations and needs. At this age students are increasingly keen to be independent and have a developing awareness of their interests and strengths. As such, students have more freedom to choose from a wide array of elective courses covering performing and visual arts, physical and outdoor education, design and technologies, language and academic enrichment. During Year 10, students have the option of replacing their Religious Education units for Youth Ministry for one semester.
